This is a
prophetic manual book that deals squarely with the spiritual aspect of
business. It is a prophetic warfare manual for destroying and overcoming the
forces of darkness battling against the progress and breakthroughs of
businesses. The rate at which the kingdom of darkness is frustrating the
businesses of Christians is alarming. So many have been frustrated out their

For true

cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be
thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt
thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The Lord shall
cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face:
they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The Lord shall
command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest
thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God
giveth thee.” Deuteronomy
28:1-8
These are
all God’s divine promises for His children and we must therefore enforce such
in our lives and businesses. There are so many believers in Christ Jesus who
had done several businesses and they have all folded up not because they don’t
have the capacities but because they are ignorant about the spiritual dimension
of business. God’s verdict concerning the prosperity of our businesses is never
in doubt as the Psalmist puts it.
“And he shall be like a tree planted
by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf
also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Psalm 1:3
If The Word
declares prosperity in all our undertakings, why are many facing hell in their
businesses?
The reason
is because satan is still the god of this world and you have to overcome the
influence of his kingdom in your life and business if you want to make headway
in your business.
“3 But if our gospel be hid, it
is hid to them that are lost:
4 in whom the god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the
glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
Apostle Paul
made no mistake when he called the devil the god of this world. He is indeed
the god of this world. There is a dangerous spiritual warfare going on in this
world. Apostle Paul gave us an insight about this war even though many
believers choose to ignore such to their own detriment.
“10 Finally, my
brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on
the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil.
12 For
we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:10-12
“3 For though we
walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (for the weapons
of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of
strong holds;)
5 casting down imaginations, and
every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 and having in a
readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
The Bible
never left us in doubt as to the spiritual warfare going in this world but we
must learn to fight as well if ever we desire constant progress and
breakthroughs in our businesses. The kingdom of darkness doesn’t take it
lightly with those who have not come to pay homage to them and are running
their businesses. They would always look for ways to frustrate such people out of
businesses.
Base on Business
statistic, 8 out of 10 entrepreneurs who start businesses fail within the first
18 months. This is a whopping 80% crash and burn. This is really serious.
Another report has it that according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics,
about 50% of all new businesses survive 5 years or more, and about one-third
survive 10-years or more. This is an interesting statistic because it shows you
that a more mature business has a better chance to survive.
According to
the Small Business Administration – The SBA – close to 66% of small businesses
will survive their first 2 years. What that means is that only about one-third
of total businesses will fail during the first 2 years. The SBA also tells you
that about 50% of businesses fail during the first year in business.
The sole
reason for this which many business tycoons, managers, educators etc. will
never tell you is that most of these failures are caused by spiritual factors.
