“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.” Matthew 21:21
The authority and power we have are so awesome that when we begin to become conscious of what they are and who we are in Christ, our lives would take a new dimension. As kings in God’s Kingdom, we need to know it’s what we decree with our mouth and backed up by our mental energy and spiritual faith that would bring results.
Christ has given us more than enough power and authority to rule on earth as spiritual kings. The truth we need to know is that the spiritual controls the physical and if you lack spiritual authority and power, you become ineffective in the spirit realm which will ultimately give the enemies the upper hand. This is the sole reason many believers are in serious bondage and it seems God is not as powerful as they have been made to believe.
“18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see. 19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant? 20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. 21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable. 22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.” Isaiah 42:18-22
This is the pathetic state of many today because they failed to come to terms with the spiritual consciousness of their kingship authority and power. Many are blind spiritually unable to see their true nature in Christ. They are also deaf unable to hear and receive instructions on how to exercise their kingdom rights. The result of ignorance is spiritual slavery.
“But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore” Isaiah 42:22
We have been empowered to rule in our kingdoms and therefore intruders into the peace of our domain should be dealt with mercilessly. Even when the enemies surround us, we don’t fear such because we have angelic body guards watching over us.
”11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel? 12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. 13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan. 14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. 15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:11-17
If Elisha could be so confident in the face of physical threat what do you think would be his disposition to spiritual threats? I leave you to ponder on that.
As spiritual kings on earth, we have our guards watching and protecting us twenty fours of the day. But they seem not to be effective because of the level of our spiritual consciousness and lifestyles in Christ.
”For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11
“The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Psalm 34:7
“Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?”
Matthew 26:5
As kings in God’s Kingdom, we have massive divine security watching over us twenty hours of the day. We shouldn’t be afraid of the enemies both physical and spiritual. The truth is that the enemies should be afraid of us and indeed they are afraid but they capitalize on our ignorance to make us weaklings.
“This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.” Deuteronomy 2:25
”Beginning today I will make all people throughout the earth terrified of you. When they hear reports about you, they will tremble with dread and fear.” Deuteronomy 2:25 NLT
Isn’t it totally absurd when we are afraid of those who should be afraid of us? We have so much from God but because we are ignorant of our Kingdom status, we play the fool in life especially in the realm of the spirit.
God has empowered us with His Spirit which is His power and as such we are too loaded to fail or be messed up by those puppies from the kingdom of darkness.
