Unfortunately, many virtues of believers have been stolen. Many believers have died before their time and some would have us believe it’s the will of God. Destinies have also been wasted by the forces of darkness. Someone once said,

The war in this end-time is very serious and should be taking with all spiritual seriousness because Apostle John gave us an insight into the nature of the world in his time which should be much worse in our own time today considering the fact we are nearer to the end of the age than he was then.

“18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” I John 5:18-19

 

I have been a warfare intercessor for over 24 years now and I have seen the devastating effects of the operations of the forces of darkness in the lives of believers especially the committed ones who are on fire for God but are ignorant of the devices of the wicked and unfortunately and regrettably in my own personal life as well. Apostle Paul did not make a mistake with his great exhortation in 2 Corinthians 2:11,

 

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

 

Pastor and Pastor Taiwo (not their real names) were ministers in one of the biggest churches in Nigeria. They were parish pastors who loved the Lord dearly. The woman’s mother who happened to be non-believer will always come from time to time to spend some time with them. She will never follow them to the church but was engaged in fetish things. She had even been caught several times spraying powdery substances round the compound.

 

There was this particular time she was caught doing the same thing even though she had been warned several times to stop such acts as they were Gospel Ministers. In anger, her daughter told her to go pack her belongings and go back to the village that same day. She left in anger and said nothing. That same week the daughter slept and never woke up. She died a mysterious death. Her mum who happened to be a high level agent of darkness killed her. This might call for so many questions.

 

Why should God allow such to happen to His own?

 

Where were God’s angels at the time the event happened?

 

Where is God’s promise of divine protection?

 

Were they having secret sins in their lives?

 

So many questions begging for answers. The truth is God was not responsible for such death. He allowed it you might say. He did not allow it but the enemies took advantage of them.

 

Pastor Okon (not his real name) was a founder of a church and a firebrand minister of The Gospel who unfortunately got married to an agent of darkness, just like many today.
