“Hereafter I
will not talk much with you: for the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD cometh, and hath
nothing in me.” John 14:30
Jesus did
not mix words; He called him the prince of this world. The great apostle Paul
even with the deep knowledge he had about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus
Christ and the finished works of grace still called satan the god of this
world.2Corinthians 4:4
“In whom the
god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the
light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine
unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:4
Where people
got their Theology from that satan is powerless and no longer in control of
this world beats my imagination. The kingdom of the earth still belongs to him
for now as can be evident with the degree of wickedness in the world today.1
John 5:19
“And we know
that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness”.1 John 5:19
At the death
and resurrection of the Lord,Jesus Christ took the power over the earth back
from satan and gave it to His disciples who will willingly walk in obedience to
Him.
“ And Jesus
came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in
earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto
the end of the world. Amen.” Mathew 28:18-20
As far as Christ is concerned the devil only
has power over those who choose to worship satan, live carelessly or
ignorantly. The earth kingdom will finally be handed over to the Father at the
end of all things.
“Then cometh
the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father;
when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must
reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is
death. For he hath put all things under
his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that
he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto
him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things
under him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:24-28
Let me pause
here before I go off tangent from my main discuss. I had to digress a bit so
that you will get to understand the origin of ancestral agents. How did
ancestral agents come into existence? The first ancestral agent was
Cain.
What?
Yes, he was.
He offered
what God rejected and later appeased the devil ignorantly by killing and shedding the
blood of Abel on the earth which gave satan more control over the earth.
Genesis 4:
“And the
LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I
my brother's keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy
brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed FROM
THE EARTH, WHICH HATH OPENED HER MOUTH TO RECEIVE THY BROTHER'S BLOOD FROM THY
HAND; “Genesis 4:9-11
Many of us
just think it’s just the killing of Abel that made God angry. It was more than
that. It was the human sacrifice that Cain made unto the devil that really
angered God. Cain may not be aware of the gravity of what he did but God knew
it. Every blood sacrifice makes the devil more powerful on earth and especially
in the place that such was shed.
Notice the
blood of Abel spoke from the ground crying for vengeance because he was killed
before his time and against his will.
Imagine if
the blood of Abel could cry for vengeance, how much more the blood of innocent
souls our forefathers have shed on their evil altars crying for vengeance
against we their offspring’s? God have mercy.
