At salvation your sins are forgiven and you are empowered
to live above sin.Jn.1:12,2Cor.5:17.Your determination to that depends
on your personal decision to live a sacrificial life and use the grace
of God.Rom.12:1-2,Rom.6:1-12.
Christians can fall into sin
through carelessness or presumptuously.1Jn.2:1-2.But we are to strive
unto perfection because that is our higher calling to be like Christ.Heb.6:1,Math.5:48,Heb.12:14.Born
again does not mean you will not have challenges with temptations.You
will but yielding to such is your own personal decision.James 1:13-14.
Jesus told that adulterous woman to go and sin no more
Jn.8:3-11.Christ knew the woman could.It is your personal duty to
crucify the flesh and strive unto perfection by the grace of God and
with the help of the Holy Spirit.Rom.6:1,Jn.16:12-14.
Paul told the Corinthians Christians to cleanse themselves of all
filthiness of the flesh and perfect holiness in the fear of the Lord in
2Cor.7:1.It is your duty to stop sinning.We are to willingly choose to
purge ourselves from sin so that we can become a holy vessel unto the
Lord 2Tim.2:20-21.
If I fall into sin today,I choose to do it
not that the devil forced me into it.It is against spiritual laws for
the devil to do such.We are all free moral beings and God respects
that.Satan only entices and gives you reasons to do evil.Doing it is
your own choice.Satan never forced Eve to eat the fruit.She made that
decisions on her own.Gen.3.
"WHEN SHE SAW THAT THAT THE TREE WAS
GOOD FOR FOOD,AND THAT IT WAS PLEASANT TO THE EYES AND A TREE TO BE
DESIRED TO MAKE ONE WISE..." Verse 6.
When I was not
saved,the devil could not force me to fornicate even though I was
addicted to porno films right from the age of 12.My friends and brothers
were involved in all sorts of rubbish but that did not push me into
it.Thank God I became born again at 17.So let us stop deceiving
ourselves as ministers and fellow Christians.It is your decision to to
live in HOLINESS or "HELLISHNESS"
